USA — One civilian was burned and hospitalized Sunday in a wildfire that burned three acres near a country club before it was quickly contained.
The fire was reported at 7:40 a.m. and burned approximately a quarter of a mile northeast of the El Rancho Verde Country Club in Rialto, according to Cal Fire.
Firefighters from Cal Fire and the Rialto, San Bernardino and San Bernardino County fire departments assisted in battling the blaze.
The burned civilian was taken to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center in Colton. That persons condition was not immediately available Sunday.
Cal Fire cautioned residents that while fire activity has died down in the region, the wildfire threat still persists as fuels are still dry, weather is still warm and humidity frequently low.
