“The Russian Defence Ministry has mapped out dozens of fire fighting exercises for 2016 with the involvement of units from the Emergencies Ministrys federal fire fighting service. The fire protection and technical commissions of military units and formations will hold planned checks of the most fire hazardous facilities,” he added.
Special attention will be paid to the proper condition of electrical equipment, heat, air conditioning and ventilation systems, the sources of water supply for fire fighting purposes, fire extinguishing means and the systems for detecting and extinguishing fires, Bulgakov said.
