Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations releases official report on fire in Shamakhi and Aghsu

Azerbaijan — Azerbaijan Ministry of Emergency Situations released official report on a fire blazed up in the dry pastures of Shamakhi and Agshu regions of Azerbaijan on July 16, public relations department of the ministry told APA.
The windy weather furthered extension of fire to neighbor Aghsu region and it covered 1000 ha of pastures in both Shamakhi and Aghsu. Due to the weather and geographical conditions, personnel and technical equipments of eight regional firefighting offices of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were immediately mobilized and sent to the site. The fire was completely extinguished at 02.30 last night.
Nearby villages, farms and forests were protected from the fire. No casualties were reported. Reasons of the fire and its damages are investigated.
