This GOES satellite image taken at 14 May, 2115 UTC shows a faint smoke plume just to the west of Lake Okeechobee. To the south, another plume of moderately dense smoke is seen extending into the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, fires over Great Abaco Island in the northern Bahamas are producing long moderately dense smoke plumes.
