Balkan Forest Fires

GFMC has been requested by the OCHA/UNEP EnvironmentalEmergency Unit to dispatch an expert to Kosovo to support the local UNadministration in assessing the fire situation and advise on fire suppressionaction. The GFMC expert will be on site in Pristina Sunday 29 July 2007.
GFMC has received the following information from NATO /Euro-Atlantic Disaster Response Coordination Centre (EADRCC):
