USA — Two town of Russell firefighters were transported to the hospital from the scene of a grass fire Thursday afternoon.
The firefighters were treated and released later Thursday, said Town of Russell Fire Chief Robert Kressel. A barn and two outbuildings were damaged in the fire, which ignited at about 4 p.m. Thursday on Highway J near Bloomville.
The cause of the fire still is under investigation.
