The International Association of Wildland Fire is beginning a series of “Fire Behavior and Fuels Conferences”. The first one was held in Portland, Oregon March 27-30, 2006 and was titled Fuels Management How to Measure Success. The U.S. Interagency Fuels Group, as well as several other organizations were cooperating to help plan, organize and put on this conference.
