  • Launch of the website “Natural Hazards – Landscape Fires” as part of BeSafeNet to provide basic understanding of the fundamentals of landscape fire and how people can protect themselves and their assets from the threats of wildfires. The website is tailored for high school students (age 15-17 years) (23 January 2020).
  • Regional planning workshop “Climate Change and Landscape Fire Management in the Western Balkans” conducted by the Regional Fire Monitoring Center for Southeast Europe / South Caucasus (RFMC) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC), with GFMC backstopping and contribution “Climate change and landscape fire management – global and regional challenges”; Skopje, Republic of North Macedonia (06-07 February 2020).
