Jambi — Thick haze blanketing the eastern coast of West and East Tanjung Jabung districts, Jambi province, has endangered the sea transportation means due to poor visibility. “The current visibility is only about 50 meters so that cargo ships and passenger boats must be careful,” a cargo ship crew member, Andi Syaipudin, said in an interview here Saturday. The smog has been covering the coastal areas of Muara Sabak, Nipah Panjang, and Kampung Laut subdistricts in East Tanjung Jabung district, he said.
