Tulare County Firefighters Attack FastMoving Wildfire

USA — The fire started Sunday afternoonin a camping area off Reservation Road, North of Deer Creek. The fire has spreadto 1500 acres and is only 50% contained. Wind has caused it to spread rapidly.

When firefighters first noticed the it, the fire had already spread across about250 acres of grass and it was threatening one home.

That home is now protected, but the fire is still spreading.

Right now 20 engines, 8 hand crews, 2 dozers, 2 water tenders and 1helicopter are out fighting the fire. No structures have been damaged, and noone has been injured.
