Burundi —   The agency quoted administration officials in Bubanza western province as saying that reasons behind setting fire on forests reserves in the east African nation were not immediately known, but the administration assumes that some animal hunters set fire on forests to do illegal hunting in order to see easily where animals are hiding.

Others set fire on forests to get pastures for their cattle, especially in the dry season extending between June and September, it reported. Enditem
