Fire authorities have issued a watch and act for the towns Cookernup, in the shire of Harvey, and Waroona as strong winds are threatening containment lines.
The alert applies to people in an area north of Forrestry Road, east of the coast, south of Preston Beach and Johnston Roads, and west of Nicholson and Gibbs Roads.
This warning area does not include Preston Beach, but includes farming properties in the area.
More than 70,000 hectares have been burnt around Waroona and Harvey after lighting sparked the bushfire last week.
Two people were killed and 180 homes and buildings were destroyed in the town of Yarloop.
A watch and act has also been issued to those in Woodman Point in the city of Cockburn as an out of control fire moves in a westerly direction.
The fire was reported late Wednesday night and has burnt about seven hectares.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
Another bushfire burning near Teesdale Forest Block west of Dwellingup has been successfully contained by firefighters overnight.
Although there is no immediate danger there is a lot of smoke in the area.
