USA — A firefighter was hurt after being called out to a brush fire burning in the 21-thousand block of Southwest Farm Road in Indiantown.
The firefighter was injured after he was thrown from a truck and is being hospitalized for a possible broken collarbone.
The blaze spread to fifty acres. According to the Florida Fire Service it was 100 percent contained by 5 p.m.
Firefighters were worried about dry grass in the area.
Authorities say recent cold weather killed grass making it vulnerable for quick ignition.
Bulldozers were employed to contain the flames. Florid Power and Light was also called to the scene to deal with downed power lines.
