Wood Buffalo RCMP along with the Regional Emergency Services all attended the scene and assisted with the evacuation of the homes, scene containment and traffic control.

According to Cst. Wilkins, no one was injured in the fire.
Fort McMurray emergency services will continue to monitor the area to ensure no hot spots flare up.
