Forest fire: 147 hectares destroyed in first three days of july

Algeria — A total of 147 hectares of forests have been ravaged by 27 fires countrywide in the period between June 1 and July 3, the Civil Protection service said Sunday.
The province of MSila has been the most badly affected by forest fires so far, with four fires destroying 53 hectares, Second Lieutenant Nassim Bernaoui told APS.
In addition, a total of 22 bushfires have been recorded nationwide, ravaging 135 hectares.
The province of Tlemcen is topping the least of affected areas, as it lost 91 hectares, destroyed in only one fire.
During the same period, 85 scrub fires devastated 585 hectares. The province of Sidi Bel Abbes has been the most affected, with 120 hectares destroyed in six fires.
