USA — Several fire agencies took part in a wildand training exercise Thursday near Golden Eagle Park in Sparks.
The Sparks Fire Department, Truckee Meadows Fire Protection District, and Nevada Bureau of Land Management all took part in the exercise.
The training allows multiple fire agencies the opportunity to work together as preparation for future major emergency incidents.
“If we continue to do trainings like this, it can be actually really smooth. All the agencies can fold right in together and everyone knows what their role is and their assignments are, and that’s why we do these trainings,” says TMFPD Batt. Chief Chris Ketring.
Of course we can help the fire crews out by making sure our homes and properties are ready for fire season.
