Turkey — A main highway was closed to traffic in the western province of Manisa as a forest fire reached the road and put traffic safety in danger, officials said on Wednesday.
The fire erupted in a forest in the Manisa region and firefighters struggled to contain the flames.
When the fire reached a main road between the western provinces of İzmir and İstanbul, the officials closed the road to traffic.
