USA — Riverside County authorities say they found a charred body in a burned-out convertible while battling 7-acre wildfire in the San Jacinto mountains.

Sheriff’s officials say fire crews found the car, which appeared to be a convertible Ford Mustang, Friday along a road on the Santa Rosa Indian Reservation on Friday. They say the body inside the car was so badly burned that they weren’t able to identify the person.

The fire was reported Friday afternoon south of Idyllwild and northeast of Anza. It was fully contained by Saturday morning.
