Israel: Firemen Head to France for Advanced Forest Fire Training

Israel/France — Israeli firefighters from the north, coast, Yerushalayim and central districts, fifteen in all, headed to France to take part in advanced training towards learning new techniques in fighting forest fires. Fire officials in Israel explain that a number of months ago, a contingent of French firefighters were in Haifa, where they took part in professional training.

Officials praise the cooperation between the professionals in the two countries, which they call mutually beneficial.
