USA — A grass fire in Arlington Tuesday night caused a small evacuation as crews worked to put it out, officials said.

The Shelby County Fire Department got the call just before 8:30 p.m. to the 11000 block of Arlington Wood, spokesman Brent Perkins said. Residents of four buildings, including a state-run mental health facility, were evacuated, but no one was hurt, Perkins said.

The fire, sparked by a downed power line, was extinguished around 9:30 p.m., Perkins said.
