Thailand — The Director of the Chiang Mai Provincial Office of Natural Resources and Environment has demanded that members of the public stop all agricultural burning in an attempt to end the haze pollution that has plagued Thailands Northern provinces since February. Bunpot Kuntasems office is promoting alternative farming methods to curtail pollution that has caused tourist arrivals to Chiang Mai to drop by 50%.
