Nepal — LAMJUNG: The wildfire raging for the past ten days in Bagarchhap VDC of Manang, the district beyond the Himalayas, could not be controlled yet.
All efforts so far made to control fire in Kyuyar Jungle, have been fruitless, said the District Police Office Manang.
It has been difficult to put out the fire as the place is steep and no snowfall, said DSP Nawinraj Rai. Police, Ramban Company of the army, locals and ACAP representatives will try it once again on Friday, he said.
