Arkhangelsk region continues to pay for extinguishing forest fires

Russia — Arkhangelsk region continues to pay debts accumulated during extinguishing forest fires in the region in the summer of 2011. The lion’s share of the debts will be paid in this year. This at a press conference, Minister of natural resources and forestry of Yuri Trubin, correspondent BakuToday .
According to him, the duty of the fire in the area amounted to 424 million rubles. 260 million rubles for the authorities in the region intend to repay this year. The rest of the money will be refunded to participants of fires until may 2012. Money for these purposes, as emphasized by the head of minlesproma, in the federal budget.
As we have informed, in the summer of 2011, the forests of the Arkhangelsk region suffered greatly as a result of fires in the region, there were 704 fire on the area of 70 HA. According to the Ministry at the restoration of forests will have to spend from 3 to 5 years.
