Mongolia — On 3pm, Information Management Center of Ulaanbaatar city, received a call about forest fire in Belkh value near the capital of Mongolia.

Firefighters from the Unit-34, Emergency Management Center of Ulaanbaatar are working on scene. Since beginning of this month 4 forest fires occurred in Green zone of the City. Cause of fire at Belkh is not yet known. Most fires are caused from carelessness of nut and berry collectors.

Countrywide, 107 forest and steppe fires occurred in the territory of 15 provinces during the first nine months of this year. Due to fires, this year 5475 ha forest area and about 1.663 thousand ha steppe area burnt in Mongolia (Source: National Emergency Management Agency).
