South Africa: SkyTrac Systems will be attending the 5th International Wildland Fire Conference in South Africa May 9-13, 2011. This event will focus on addressing global change through integrated fire management under the auspices of the United Nations International Strategy for Disaster Reduction and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. SkyTrac representatives Kim Bagnall and Steve Fuhr will be on hand to demonstrate SkyTracs industry leading, next generation hardware and software products at booth #14. The protection of the worlds environment cannot be effective without national and international fire management policies for natural, semi-natural and cultural landscapes. SkyTracs portable DSAT and installed ISAT systems provide both air to ground and air to air communications while tracking the aircraft in all regions of the globe.
VP and Director of Business Development, Steve Fuhr, commented SkyTrac has developed features specifically for operators conducting aerial firefighting missions. SkyTracs ISAT can transmit data from operational systems such as water buckets, belly tanks, and remote hooks to provide operators real time access to pick up/drop off information including water volume, weight, drop patter, and retardant mix rations. We are looking forward to attending this show to demonstrate our hardware and software systems to operators and agencies involved in fire suppression.
