USA — On April 19th 2011 from 0830 to 1630 the US Forest Service (FS) will be hosting a Large Airtanker Forum to meet with contractors and vendors to engage in informal discussions regarding business efficiencies, potential operating strategies, and contracting practices related to the aerial firefighting. Agency leadership, contracting representatives, and program managers from the FS will be in attendance to discuss the 5 to 10 year outlook as well as provide an update on the next couple of years. Space is somewhat limited and companies that want to attend with more than 5 individuals should contact the Contracting Officer to establish those accommodations.
