USA — A Sunset Beach firefighter suffered a minor injury while battling a wildfire Saturday. Sunset Beach Fire Chief Chris Barbee said in an e-mail to WWAY the man was treated at the scene.
The injury happened as crews battled a blaze that wound up burning more than 100 acres. Five other departments helped the Sunset Beach fire department.
Chief Barbee says the Forestry Service brought in two plows and two airplanes. No buildings were damaged.
