USA — Firefighters responding to a grass fire found the body of a homeowner.
The body of 79-year-old Hardin “Sonny” Hatfield was found in his yard, reported The News-Enterprise of Elizabethtown.
Chief Richard Peters of the Glendale Volunteer Fire Department said the fire on Wednesday burned about four acres of Hatfield’s property in the Glendale community of Hardin County.
Kentucky State Police Detective Jason Propes said there is no suspicion of foul play.
The News-Enterprise described Hatfield as a business owner and accomplished woodworker.
