USA — UPDATE 9/27/10
An unattended fire destroyed a house and damaged two others Monday evening.
The fire started along Kanawha State Forest Drive around 6 p.m. Monday.
Firefighters say the home was abandoned and was being torn down by its owners, who live next door.
The owners started a fire to burn the debris from the home and allegedly left it unattended.
That is when it spread to the abandoned house, which burned to the ground. The fire also melted the siding off two homes located on each side of the abandoned house.
No one was hurt in the fire.
