Roanoke: Fire, Death Labeled Accidents

USA — Roanoke authorities say a brush fire and the death of an unidentified man whose body was found at the scene are being investigated as accidents.

Roanoke Fire-EMS spokeswoman Tiffany Bradbury issued the update Wednesday. She says the agency is still waiting for final autopsy results.

The victim was found in a small cave after crews fought the brush fire around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday. The cause hasn’t been determined.
