South Africa —  Date: Friday 16 April 2010. Venue: University of Pretoria Experimental Farm, Hatfield. Cost: R600 / person. (including lunch at Achilles restaurant) Presented by Fred Farvard, training manager for the Working on Fire Programme and Frits van Oudtshoorn from Bushveld Eco Services. The course includes topics such as fire behavior, fireline safety, firefighting strategies and tactics, veld burning for veld management, etc.

The course starts at 8:30 am and ends at about 4:00 pm. Notes will be provided and certificates will be awarded.
