Ghana —  Yaw Senanu Feyi, a cripple who was on February 5 badly burnt by a bushfire at the outskirts of Tsibu, has died.

Mr Easmon Dugbenu, Assistant Fire Station Officer at Peki, told the GNA that Feyi was trekking from Tsibu-Bethel Prayer Camp to Tsibu for a funeral when the incident happened.

He said the fierce fire along both sides of the road from the Prayer Camp Junction to Tsibu trapped Feyi at a patched area where he took refuge.

Mr Dugbenu said Feyi was found severely burnt and was taken to the Peki Hospital and later to the Volta Regional Hospital, where he died.
