USA — The smoke and haze we’re seeing in the Truckee Meadows is coming from a wildfire near Yosemite National Park.

The Big Meadows Fire was a prescribed burn that quickly got out of control. As of Thursday, the fire was 10% contained and had burned about 2,200 acres and shut down a section of Highway 120 through the park.

People who are sensitve to smoke or have breathing problems are advised to say inside and close their windows as much as possible until the smoke dissipates.
