USA — The Phoenix Police Department detonated what they’re calling a “suspicious device” found at the scene of a brush fire Saturday night.
At about 6 p.m., firefighters responded to the fire near 26th and Oak streets.
The Phoenix Police Department’s Bomb Squad was called out to the scene after firefighters found what appeared to be a pipe bomb.
The bomb squad detonated the device without incident. Detectives are uncertain as to whether or not it was indeed a pipe bomb.
No one was hurt.
No other details were released Saturday night.
