Argentina — Two seats of fire are still being combated by the firemen in the Córdoba mountains but the forest fire is now considered as “under control”. The persons evacuated are already “back home”, the provincial government said.
“Today there are only two seats of fire still being combated by the firemen,” said the Córdoba province government spokesman Javier Sosa. “One is totally under control, on the (touristic path) “Camino a las Altas Cumbres” while the other, which started yesterday, is being fought close to the Villa Carlos Paz district,” he added.
“The ten other seats are off and the ashes are under surveillance. Any wind could light the fire up again as the forest is very dry,” he concluded.
