India — A pregnant woman and her nine- year-old sister were charred to death in a forest fire at Frasoli-Ghorakhal, 15 km from here.
Lila (20), who was eight months pregnant, and her sisterDeepa were crossing the forest when the fire broke out on Thursday, police said.
Lila died on the spot whileDeepa succumbed to her injuries in the local hospital, they said adding that their bodies had been handed over to the family after postmortem.
