Two adults and three young children are killed in a weekend fire in southwest Missouri.

The five victims of a fatal mobile home fire have been identified as a mother, her three children — the youngest seven months old – and a family friend.

The fire happened just before 4:30 a.m. on Saturday near the Barry-Stone County line in the Mark Twain National Forest.

Fire officials say what caused the fire might never be known because of the extensive damage from the fire.
