USA — Power company workers start an afternoon fire that leaves thousands near Yakima without electricity.
Pacific Power says a crew was replacing a power pole at a paintball field west of Wiley City. Authorities say the pole fell down, and started a brush fire. Firefighters put out the fire.
It caused more than 20-thousand people from Yakima to Naches to lose electricity temporarily. Pacific power says workers restored electricity to all of its customers within an hour.
