Minor killed in wildfire, 3 hurt

Nepal — A minor was burnt to death while three others sustained injuries in a wildfire that spread in Chilaune VDC of the district on Tuesday (17 march 2009).

According to District Superintenden Police Mr. Pasupatinath Dotel, Rajan Khadka (11 years old boy) was engulfed by the sudden forest fire while he was collecting fodder in the Baire forest. Ms. Papitra Khadka (15), Mr. Manoj Rai (13) and Mr. Dhiraj Rai (7) were seriously injured. Injured persons are under treatment in the B.P. Koirala Hospital in Dharan.
