Australia — Students and faculty at Ascension Catholic School have returned to classes following an early morning report of smoke in a campus building.

Melbourne Fire Department investigators were trying to determine if the haze at the school was produced by a blown motor in an air conditioner.

The initial smoke report was made to the Melbourne Fire Department at 8:15 a.m. and prompted an immediate evacuation of the building, located at 2950 U.S. 1, as a safety precaution. No flames were seen and no one was injured.
