The United States Forest Service with funding from the United States Agency for International Development is providing Lebanon with training on the Incident Command System (ICS), a management framework that coordinates responsibilities and functions during complex natural and man-made disasters. ICS is recognized as the international standard for wildfire incident response and has been successfully adapted in a number of countries around the world.
