Australia — Australian Premier Kevin Rudd said Thursday that the nation will have a national day of mourning in memory of the Victoria State wildfires victims.
The announcement came as investigators focus on how many of the devastating Victorian bushfires from last weekend were deliberately set, including the possibility the deadly Marysville fires were a result of arson. Canberra would provide support to the Victorian Government to assist with organizing both the national day of mourning and the remembrance service.
