Nepal — The fire that broke out in Phulchoki hill forest in south-western part of Nepali capital Kathmandu Valley has not come under control by Saturday.
According to the National News Agency RSS report, efforts are still on to douse fire that started Friday night and spread in the forest south from Phulchoki tower, Superintendent of Police Kedarnath Bhandari said.
He added that a larger number of Nepali Army personnel and police have been sent to the area to take fire under control.
Actual loss caused due to the fire has yet to be assessed, said the police.
Towers of Nepal Telecom, Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal and Nepal Television and Radio Nepal are located in the Phulchowki hill — the highest hill in the valley.
