USA — Santa Ana winds are boosting the anxiety level of those worried about another episode of wildfires.
Forecaster Stan Wasowski at the regional weather office says gusts could equal those that fanned last months destructive fires.
But, they should blow themselves out much sooner and the humidity shouldnt be as low because the recent rains helped to moisten up the fuels.
The Air Quality Management District warned of windblown dust.
Residents of Santa Ana Canyon and Yorba Linda reported gray clouds of ash in the air Tuesday. They feared that the Freeway Complex Fire had re-ignited, but authorities offered assurances that it had not.
