Bulgaria — The fire that raged in the Bulgaria’s Stara Planina mountain close to the southern town of Sliven has been extinguished, Vladimir Demirev, head of the Fire Safety and Population Protection Service in Sliven, told Focus – Sliven Radio.
The service will keep an eye on the area in case the fire breaks up again because of a peat cover of 60-70 cm.
