Firefighters battle to put out Rila wildfire completely

Blagoevgrad, Bulgaria —  Firefighters are battling to completely put out the fire in Rila mountain national park, Leonardo Stoyanov with Chief Fire Safety and Rescue Directorate told Focus News Agency.
The flames, however, will be extinguished completely in a week when the region marked has been toured because there are many hidden hot spots due to the peat in the area.

Sofia — It is expected the Operative Staff to take a decision whether the aircrafts to be involved in the extinguishing operation in Rila mountain national park. There is still no information whether the two Spanish firefighting airplanes that landed on Sofia airport on Tuesday would start battling the flames on Wednesday, press centre of the Ministry of Interior informed FOCUS News Agency.
The situation in the area is unchanged. The fire that was limited within 1,400 decares doesn’t spread but is still raging. It is expected about 200 people from different institutions to include in the try for fighting and putting out the fire.
