Bulgaria — The wildfire raging in Rila national park has spread to an area of some 1,250 decares. The situation is still complex in the western part because of the mountainous terrain, peat and wind, Chief Commissary Nikolay Nikolov, head of Chief Directorate Fire Safety and Rescue, told Focus News Agency after touring the region affected by the fire.
