Turkey sends two aircrafts for extinguishing fire in Borjomi forests

Turkey has sent a special aircraft to Georgia for extinguishing the fires, which broke out in Borjomi forests yesterday. APA reports that Turkey is expected to send one more fire-bombing aircraft to Georgia. Minister of Environment Protection and Natural Resources of Georgia Irakli Gvaladze said the fires would be completely extinguished by the end of the day. He said 220ha forestland had been burnt down. The fire broke out in some kilometers far from the territory through which Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan oil pipeline passes.
