Greece — A wildfire threatening the village of Panakton, in Viotia prefecture north of Athens, on Tuesday, was finally stopped at the community’s perimeter, as well as next to the property housing a munitions plant in the area.
Flames were still visible in the area in the late afternoon, however, with a large firefighting force in place.
