Nepal — An old man involved in forest fire suppression was died today.He was a resident of Hiwalcha-3, Khairabang, Salyan and injured during the firesuppression in the pine forest few days ago. He, 65 years old, went to fight thefire approaching towards his village. District Hospital referred him to otherwell-equipped hospital but he could not go out due to his poor economiccondition, Mr. Rabindra Shrestha, a health worker said.
Similarly, seven years old boy Mohan Pariyar was also killed by the fire inRumal village forest of Swikot village development committee when he went to theforest for fodder collection in 24 April 2008.
